"The theme of this years conference is "follow the flow", and we're hoping to hear in the miniconf proposals how more and more people are getting involved in free and open source software. I'm looking forward to seeing talented technical people both in Australia and overseas contacting us; and ideas flowing in for miniconfs that they'd like to organise at lca2011," said Sarah Smith, lca2011 Miniconf Coordinator.
