Urbanest provides student accommodation across the river from QUT, a short walk from our venue via the Goodwill footbridge. Built in 2009, it is modern and air-conditioned. Suites of 6 single private rooms with bed, study and bathroom share a kitchen and common room. LCA will be providing high speed network access to Urbanest.

Terms and Conditions
- All rooms are subject to availability. Bookings made after 2010-Dec-31 will be at a cost of $550.
- All bookings must be received by the 2010-Dec-31.
- Daily service of the apartment is not included.
- Linen is supplied. Guests can prepare their own meals and snacks if they wish, but must purchase their own food. Convenience stores are located nearby.
St Leos College is situated on the University of Queensland St Lucia campus, about 5km from our venue. All 3 daily meals are included in the price, and a boxed lunch and late meals can be arranged if sufficient notice is given.
St Leos is about a 1 hour walk from the venue, so you will need to use
public transport. A $60
go card
will pay for 25 single trips between LCA and the St Leos
is more than most people will use.
Returning the card at the end will get you a
refund for the $5 deposit and unused trips.
Go cards can be purchased at Newsagents and the airport,
and topped up using the web.
The two options available are a bus from the
UQ Lakes bus station to the City Bus Stop 16
(bus 109 timetable),
or via a City Cat Ferry
(timetable) that will drop you at the door at
QUT.

Rooms include all 3 daily meals. No discount for meals not taken.
Halal and vegetarian diets are covered in the rate, but
special diets such as vegan, non-dairy, nut allergies, coeliac
etc incur a $10 daily surcharge.
